ALERT: Coming changes to the SA planning code (& new property development opportunities)!  PLUS case study: Adapt and Profit!

Don’t miss our next meetup, where planning experts Jake Vaccarella and Josh Skinner from URPS will detail important changes coming to SA planning policies – including “Future Living” and “Accommodation Diversity” Code Amendments led by State Government.

These Code Amendments propose changes to policies that affecting development of new housing, shared/student accommodation, retirement living and more.

Developers will be keenly interested in a new type of infill development called “co-located housing”. This proposed change is aimed at unlocking more housing development in Adelaide’s established suburbs, and could give rise to new opportunities for developers where an existing home is retained as part of the development.

Joshua and Jake will cover:

– The proposed planning rule amendments, and how they’ll impact developers

– How these changes create new potential development opportunities

– How you can influence the Code Amendments

About Joshua Skinner: Josh is a key member of the URPS Plocy Team, with extensive experience as a development advisor delivering Code Amendments that realise development potential – from upzoning infill sites around urban activity centres through to greenfield land in northern and southern Adelaide.  Josh has a thorough understanding of the impact of planning policy on development, and has facilitated approvals for high-rise apartments, peri-urban industrial facilities and major tourism projects in regional locations.

About Jake Vaccarella: Jake leads the URPS Residential Team, and understands the value of quick and certain planning approvals. With extensive experience in Local Government, Jake knows how to best communicate with various assessment professionals to get them on-side quickly.  His experience includes helping Rivergum Homes obtain approval for more than 500 houses in a single calendar year.

Jusua and Jake highly regarded in both private and public sectors for their ability to solve complex planning & development challenges.

PLUS – Real Deal: Adapt and Profit!

At the meetup you’ll also get to see a joint venture property development case study, demonstrating the importance of ADAPTATION throughout a roller coaster ride of market changes, multiple real estate agents, and skyrocketing build costs over two years… to deliver a $170K profit outcome!
